Plants as token of honor
August 1st is celebrated as Oral hygiene day in India. It is celebrated to spread the awareness about importance of oral hygiene.
Bapuji dental College and hospital, Davanagere had organized a program to celebrate oral hygiene day. Faculty and students actively participated in the event to spread the awareness.
To make the event further special, saplings were distributed as token of honour to delegates and guests in the event. Guests were delighted with the gifts and Eco-friendly initiative taken by Bapuji hospital.
There were saplings of Rose, jasmine, crape jasmine, champak, Aloevera, Basil plant, oleander, Hibiscus, show plants and many more.
Our planet is in great threat. We are in need of growing more and more plants and save our life. We are already facing the consequences for cutting our forests. Floods, global warming, air pollution, soil erosion are results of our stupidity.
Each one of us have to take initiative and plant trees to save our planet and save ourselves.
We appreciate the initiative taken by Bapuji dental college and hospital, Davangere.
